A cottage in the country
– your home away from home
The original 19th century barn of the farmhouse has been restored to provide three quality holiday cottages – Les Hirondelles, Les Etables and also Les Noisetiers. Many of the original features have been retained including exposed stonework and beams.
Each of the gîtes (cottage in French) has a private terrace and seating area close at hand to take advantage of the impressive views over the countryside of this very special part of southwest France .
Two of the gîtes have wood burning stoves and one has electric convector heaters. You will find them warm in winter and cool in summer protected from extremes of temperature by the thick stone walls of the original barn. To keep you cool on those hot summer nights all windows have shutters and fans are provided for extra ventilation. We provide extra beds for children under 6 and have cots for babies. Each gîte has a sofa bed which can extend the sleeping capacity by 2. Guests have use of a laundry room with washing machines and drying areas.

Swallows visit us at Peyrenegre each year and Les Hirondelles is named after them. The gite sleeps 4/6 and comprises:
Twin bedroom.
Double bedroom with washbasin (space for additional bed if required)
Private terrace with wooden outdoor table and chairs.
Fully equipped kitchen
Dining area with seating for up to 6 guests.
Sitting room with TV, DVD, comfortable seating, and double sofa bed.
Separate toilet.
Shower room.

We are sure that you will find a real home away from home in Les Hirondelles. There are books and games and a large library of DVDs for you to borrow. You will have free use of the internet (subject to technical availability) and access to telephone if you really need to contact the world away from Peyrenegre. We are happy to provide a highchair, travel cot and other baby equipment for our younger guests. We have tried to think of everything you may need and you will find the cottage well equipped and maintained.

Les Noisetiers sleeps 2/4
Les Noisetiers is named after all the hazlenut trees that surround us here at Peyrenegre. The gite has many traditional features and offeres a home from home feel. With beautiful views across the rolling countryside.
